I started my career by accident, saying I want to learn COBOL as a fresh college graduate. I have nearly 20 years on the mainframe with 10 years as a COBOL/CICS/Db2 developer. I fell in love with Db2 starting with V9 and am an Infrastructure DBA specializing on Db2 for z/OS at Sun Life Financial, a global insurance provider. I am a 5-year IBM Champion and the IDUG North American Conference Chair for 2024.
