As an aspiring mainframe professional, launch your career journey forward with expert-led training in mainframe fundamentals and Broadcom technologies, followed by immersive, hands-on experience at a customer site, giving you invaluable insight into real-world systems and applications.
Prerequisite: None
A 7-week training on the foundational mainframe programming skills delivered in a blend of remote, instructor-led, web-based and self-paced accelerated learning path. The mainframe bootcamp is over 220 hours of training which includes multiple labs and exercises culminated with a capstone project. This course will cover the spectrum of mainframe processing, programming concepts and applications.
Prerequisite: Mainframe Foundations or qualification test
Systems Programmer Foundations is a 5-week onboarding program created to help successfully build upon foundational mainframe products skill sets. With a strong focus on technical skills, students will dive into z/OS Basics, JCL, REXX and more. The Systems Programmer Foundations program contains hands-on workshops and exercises and is taught by experts; past and present, who bring real-life experiences to each session.

Prerequisite: Mainframe Foundations, System Programmer Foundations, or opt-out by passing the Qualification Test
The Vitality Resident will spend 6 weeks learning how to create database structures, maintain the environment and analyze system performance. Residents will gain intermediate knowledge and skills in an immersive hands-on experience learning curriculum.
Product: ACF2, Top Secret
Prerequisite: Mainframe Foundations, System Programmer Foundations, or opt-out by passing the Qualification Test
The Vitality Resident will spend 6 weeks learning the product environment, how to perform configuration, as well as how to implement access control and setup security for member level protection, certificates and pass tickets. Residents will gain intermediate knowledge and skills in an immersive hands-on experience learning curriculum.
Product: OPS/MVS
Prerequisite: Mainframe Foundations, System Programmer Foundations, or opt-out by passing the Qualification Test
The Vitality Resident will spend 5 weeks getting trained on the OPS/MVS automation product. Residents will gain intermediate knowledge and skills in an immersive hands-on experience learning curriculum and once complete, be able to work in an OPS/MVS shop to develop automations.

Prerequisite: Mainframe Foundations, System Programmer Foundations, or opt-out by passing the Qualification Test
The Vitality Resident will spend 6 weeks learning how to implement the software change management lifecycle and manage post-implementation operations. Residents will gain intermediate knowledge and skills in an immersive hands-on experience learning curriculum.
